Well I apologize for the long lapse in updates. I have just been really busy chasing the little guy around. Now that we are so much more mobile I don't get many chances to sit down and update the blog. Plus are naps are becoming anything but regular anymore, you never know if your going to get a 1/2 hour or 2 hours to do something for your self.
But, now that I am re-emerging, at least for the time being, enjoy the pictures and movies.
First of all how do you like my rooster comb? I mashed my head nice and firmly against the side of my crib during nap time and this is how I awoke. Of course, minus the food on my face that's my dinner if you didn't already figure that one out.

Duck, Duck, Where's A Duck?
We learned this week to blow duck calls. This a feat that I really think that daddy enjoys alot, but mommy really thinks that it is pretty humorous as well. See what you guys think from my video.
BBRRRRUMMMM......
Wyatt and I were getting a little stir crazy with the cold weather, so we decided to go outside. We bundled up so we'd be nice and warm and then we found our toys. The rest I believe you can understand from the pictures and movie. Needless to say I think we really enjoyed ourselves and being outdoors for a change.
Bath Time Fun
We got a new bath time toy today. We're kind of a bit bewildered by it. The propeller on the back is really fascinating to Wyatt.
Toilet Paper!
We have found the toilet paper. This is not the worst that we have done, but it'll give you a good idea as to our abilities when were really into it.

Dumpster Diver
This is a funny little blurp. I wish I kept it recording longer cause it was even funnier watching him get out of this predicament.
I promise I really don't encourage him to play in the trash, he just loves the crinkle of the trash bag and then the lid just happens to find its way on/around him. Promise!

Wyatt's 1st Trip To The Beach
This past week was my fall break and Doug decided to take the week off from work as well and we made a trip to the SC coast. Unfortunately the weather wasn't warm enough to allow for real beach play. But, we were able to get a couple of photos of us camping and on the beach.
Wyatt really had a fascination with the sand and big clam shells that he found (with a little help from his daddy) on the beach.
Enjoy the pics.

Toothes # 3 &4
Daddy found my two front teeth this past weekend. Only the right front one has actually broken through the gum, however the left front tooth is hovering just below the gum. I guess it's just waiting for it's turn to make it's entrance. However as fast as the other one's have come in I don't think it will take anytime.
Hopefully we'll be able to get a picture up soon. No more baby gummy smiles. :o(

Water Bowl Shuffle
Wyatt is so talented! He created his own dance step. He even incorporated some props to add some pizazz.

I Think I Can
Wyatt has been climbing through and over chair legs at his Grandma's house for a couple of weeks, but he just decided to do it at home tonight. We still have a little more practice in store for us. He tends to get hung on his belly, but lots of grunts and wiggles back and for he can usually clear the rung on the chair.

Burglar In The House!
Well Wyatt has now become fascinating with opening and closing doors, of all kinds and sizes. But, we just found out today just how good he is at clearing out what's behind those doors once he's opened the cabinet door.
As you can guess we are so much better at getting things out than we are at putting them back.

Motorcycles!!
Wyatt and daddy are really trying to get in the practice of riding the motorcycle, so that they'll be ready to go when he gets a little bigger. Take a peek and see how much fun they had. Think he's ready for his own? Maybe a couple more months, right?.

Crawling, Pull/Push, and Standing
Well its been a little while since I've posted pictures. There are actually a couple of reasons for this. One is that I have gone back to work and thus am not just lounging around anymore (hahaha). Two is that we have become more and more mobile now and it is getting harder and harder to leave him long enough to take a picture of him, without him getting into something unexpected before I can get back to him. But, recently I forced myself to make some pictures. Hope you enjoy them.
These next pictures are a sequence. The first couple are kind of funny.
Here is a short video to show you how I crawl. It's really more like the combat crawl.

New Bike Trailer
Here is our new bike trailer. I hope I put it together right. Guess we'll find out soon.
Swim Lessons Cont.
Okay, so there was a little delay, but as promised here are some pictures from our swim lessons. Sadly though yesterday was our last day. We will have to take some trips to the gym pool to keep in practice of what we've learned. At the end of it all we were able to go under water, float on our back, kick our legs and pat our arms in the water, lean/jump to mom in the pool, spit water ( instead of swallowing it), and have lots of fun in the water. Of course all of this was done with a little help from my mommy and our wonderful swim instructor.
Hopefully we will get to catch up with the lessons next spring or summer. Until then enjoy these pictures.

Parent and Tot Swim Time
After seeing how much fun Wyatt had at the lake, a couple of weeks ago, we decided to enroll him in swimming lessons. So, this week was our first week. We are the only people in our class this session at the Oak Ridge Civic Center. The instructor has 24 and an 18 year old daughters and is a retired early childhood educator. She is great to learn from and Wyatt has a blast. Today he went under water for the first time, without any tears, crying, or fussing. Actually both of us went under water together. He's so awesome! Even if I may be a little bit biased.
I will try to get some pictures to post up.

Splish Splash
This past weekend we had intended to go to the beach for a short get away. However, because it became difficult to find a sitter for our puppies we decided to forgo the trip. Instead Doug, Wyatt, and I took a short trip to the beach at a nearby lake. It was very fun. Wyatt is definitely quite the little fish. I think we might have to research little baby swimming classes. He really does enjoy it. And he really loves it when his daddy entertains him like he did in this last video. As you also see this really wore us out, he slept all night long last night. Yeah!
Enjoy the pics.
