Parent and Tot Swim Time

After seeing how much fun Wyatt had at the lake, a couple of weeks ago, we decided to enroll him in swimming lessons. So, this week was our first week. We are the only people in our class this session at the Oak Ridge Civic Center. The instructor has 24 and an 18 year old daughters and is a retired early childhood educator. She is great to learn from and Wyatt has a blast. Today he went under water for the first time, without any tears, crying, or fussing. Actually both of us went under water together. He's so awesome! Even if I may be a little bit biased.

How do you like my new "Do"? My mommy says I look really cool. I think she said something about being a chick magnet, too. I wonder what that means?

Sippy Cup Action Time

Wyatt has just realized how to suck from a sippy cup. Wow he's getting so big. Yikes!

What? Messy Food?

Today while eating our evening bit of cereal I thought it would be fun to let Wyatt entertain himself with his cereal bowl. He has been really trying hard to grab at and hold on to the bowl when I've been feeding him. So, here are some pictures of the fun he had. He's so silly.

Splish Splash

This past weekend we had intended to go to the beach for a short get away. However, because it became difficult to find a sitter for our puppies we decided to forgo the trip. Instead Doug, Wyatt, and I took a short trip to the beach at a nearby lake. It was very fun. Wyatt is definitely quite the little fish. I think we might have to research little baby swimming classes. He really does enjoy it. And he really loves it when his daddy entertains him like he did in this last video. As you also see this really wore us out, he slept all night long last night. Yeah!

Beginning to Rock

We are starting to rock on our knees more and more. We are probably within weeks of starting to crawl. But, only time will truly tell. Stay posted to see when it actually happens.

Snowshoe Trip

This past weekend we went to Snowshoe, WV, to a bike race that Doug was racing in. We took our new trailer and actually used almost all the conveniences that it provides. I must admit we don't have a ton of pictures because being the first big trip with the trailer and Wyatt it was sort of a fly by the seat of your pants trip. But, we did get a couple of pictures. Hope you enjoy them.
